It depends on your needs. I used to use Dish DSL before I switched over to Cable Modem, because of the following reasons:1. DSL was too slow for my needs. I needed 3-5 MBps, but Dish DSL barely gave me 512 KBps.2. Unreliable, especially in bad weather. I needed a 24x7 uptime, and Dish DSL simply did not cut itThe only advantage I can think of about Dish DSL is the price. It's much cheaper than Cable Modem.
