Multiswitch Options

I'm moving my system to a new house, where I'll have a new dish installed (see previous post). Currently, I only use two lines from my dish -- one for a standard RCA receiver and one for a RCA DirecTivo.

At the new place, I want to use both tuners on the DirecTivo and add at least one more receiver, so I want a multiswitch.

Here's my question -- if I get a "standard" Dual LNB dish (two lines from the dish), can I hook it up to a "5 x 8" multiswitch and use all 8 outputs? Or do I have to get a triple LNB dish with four outputs to use with a 5 x 8?

I know they make a 3 x 4 multiswitch, but that may not be enough outputs for me down the road and I'd rather do it once.

Likewise, I think I've seen 3 x 8 multiswitches. Any caveats? One concern is that if I added HDTV service later I'd have to replace the multiswitch.

(BTW, for anyone I've thoroughly confused -- a *3* x 4 multiswitch uses two satellite inputs and has a third for an off-air antenna. Likewise, a *5* x 8 uses four satellite inputs and has a fifth for off-air.)

Thanks,
DirecSteve
