Has anyone else experienced major billing issues with Directv?
When I signed up for Directv, I was promised a certain rate and discount, but its now four months in, and I have received numerous different bill amounts, rates, etc. Whenever I try to call customer service, I cannot reach anyone who is willing to listen, I always get transferred. I feel like I've just been jerked around by Directv and they have now cornered me into a contract for 2 years that I cannot get out of. PLEASE HELP WITH SOME ADVICE!!!!

5 years ago I did. These guys were much worse than DishNetwork.Direct TV had really horrible customer service: as in hours to answer the phone (and no I still don’t want NFL Season pass); as in they wanted 9 weeks to schedule and install my satellite system; As in they could not explain what equipment I needed. And oh yeah I could not understand a few of the service operators through their heavy Indian accent. I had to hang up and try for someone else. This was only 2 of the 5 people I spoke to, but after waiting for an hour – the difficulty seemed significant at the time. After several long phone waits, I scrapped it.I called the DishNEtwork guys. They answered the phone. They provided the equipment for free. They replaced the equipmnet when it broke. They got it installed in a timely fashion.In my opinion the only thing Direct TV does well is advertise.
