I thought I would not be able to use Tivo but my uncle says his DirecTv box is hooked up to his Tivo and doesn't use a phone line at all. He is able to use his Tivo with no trouble. How is that done? Do I need an engineering degree to do it?

we have directv in our house we have three regular boxes and one TiVo box in my moms room and we have the option to hook them up to our land line but we never did so i think you can most likly have what you need but if your really nsure just call directv
