I just signed up for Directv. I had intially called to get my electric hooked up, and because I am a first time mover, they contacted me with all the other things I will need.So I went ahead and ordered my direct tv, to be installed at a later date. I thought I had understood everything but then I got an email with 2 redemption forms.One of the forms says it is for $150. And says not to send with my bill. To mail it with my first month reciet. Does this mean they are going to charge me $150 and then pay me back? Because I did NOT authorize them to put that on my credit card. And I have never heard of them charging people that much money before. They second one was for $120. and was the same thing.Do they expect me to pay $250 on my first bill? I was told all the installing and EVERYTHING was free to bring out. I am going to call in the morning, but right now I am a little worried about this. Can anyone explain it to me?

it is a rebate, so yes you pay it. you must be getting a DVR and HD.
If you do not want to wait for rebates, go with Dish Network.
