DirecTV gets on my nerves, when I record on the DVR, shows cut off before...
...they end, the DVR jumps around? The DVR jumps around when you fast forward and rewind too much and gets stuck......the shows I DVR cut off before they are over.....AM I THE ONLY ONE WITH THESE DIRECTV PROBLEMS?

when you set it up to record go to recording options and record an hour longer

No, I have Time Warner cable, and my DVR does the same annoying things...taping the show that comes on after the one I want to tape is a major pain, but that's pretty much the only way I can ensure that I get to watch all of my shows.
