Send a message via Yahoo to dishrodger
Tv programming is much cheaper then cable. that takes care of that part.
as for internet. High speed DSL is quick ( not as fast as some cable companies) & cheaper.
Satellitre TV is up to 1.5

It depends on your needs. Satellite internet has high Latency, for non techies that means when you click the mouse on a web site instead of it taking a 10th of a second it can take 1- 2 seconds before you get a response. So that means no, VOIP (Skype or Vonage), no online game play, no remote access to work computers or corp servers (in realtime, no pcanywhere or terminal services.) Why would you use it, well if you live on a hill in the middle of nowhere and you only have dial-up or cans with string then it is for you. In our area we recommend our bad local cable company for internet, before we will sell our product of Wildblue or Hughes (Direct Way) or Starband. I have installed all of them, and it's just the technology to beam that signal from earth to a satellite 22000 miles away takes time. good luck and choose wisely. and to complete your answer Dish or Direct, we sell both, it depends on your viewing preferences. Look at the programs you want to see, we sell direct to NFL and Nascar Fans, but right now that is it's only perks, Dish has the dual tuners, so you pay for every other TV and the odd TV are free. So economically it is cheaper for 4 TV systems.
