1 - How much difficulty will I encounter when aiming each time I set up camp?

It really is difficult to aim each time you set up a camp because there will be a new coordinates to point on the same coordinates where you point the last time. Your only choice is to remember the steps you did after setting up your dish to the satellite.

2 - Would DISH be better serve my needs as far as setup,

Both Direct TV and Dish Network will serve your needs. It's just that you will have a hard time pointing to the same satellite.

Hi,

yes, obviously it is slightly hard while doing self installation. Refer dispointer, satbeams and lyngsat for easy aligning. If you find difficult with self Installation, please go with Professional Installation and it is free on both these networks.

Bye

Hi Camper. I don't know how DTV Works But. I used to do my dishnet myself. but dishnet receivers are a little easier to use. because you go to set up screen and It tells you which sat you are pointing at. and if I'm not mistaken DTV still using 110 and 119 for standard def. service, I don't know which Sat they use for HD. but I know it is not the same.. so try aiming to 110 and 119, good luck..

For me, I'd prefer Dish Network. Not only that they have lots of choices on packages, it's also cheap and got more HD Channels than Direct TV. However, if you're a sports fan, then Direct TV if the Satellite TV Service for you.
