DirecTV at football tailgate

Hello everyone,

My friends and I are starting a tailgate this football season and we wanted to have ABC, ESPN, etc. on our TV there. We got an HDTV and just bought a used DirecTV satellite dish off of someone, and we are planning on buying a Honda generator.

Has anyone done this before and know of any potential pitfalls we might encounter? Will there be any problems getting service to the used dish? Does the dish have to be a certain model to be used outside of the home? Do we need a certain power generator?

Any insight you can give would be appreciated. Thanks.
