I have DirecTV and in the snow it does great. I hear a lot of complaints from people that say they can't get reception when there's snow on their dish, but I have ours on the roof, aimed through a lot of Pine trees, and it does great. Thunderstorms, hail, wind, snow... I've yet to lose my signal because of it.
