No signal for Local channels

I have a subscription for dish network with local channels. I have a
DVR receiver for one room and I have had problems with it for a while.
Usually when my local channels go out they come back in with in 2 or 3
days but this time they haven't came back. I call Dish and they said
they would send someone but it would cost me 99 dollars. Any
suggestions?

Try beating the guy who comes out *grin*

Seriously though, where I'm from (TN) if the local channels do that they'll normally come out for free and put up a second dish so you actually get the plan you're paying for.

This is in the wrong forum.. But anyways it could be because the reciever has been plugged out? Or it tends to happen when you clear your purchase history.

Yeah same with my plan. I guess if you can't find a solution, just pay the $99 to get it fixed. Honestly I watch PPV so much that I hardly watch my local channels.

Dish or DirecTV?

Is this a Dish Network issue? I'm not trying to be picky about which forum, but if it is *Dish*, someone over there can probably give you better advice.

Regardless, 2-3 days is too long, in my opinion.
