Directv started offering TV One in January. TV One is a lifestyle and entertainment channel targeting African American adults. It's available in the Total Choice package. The deal also made Directv an equity investor in the channel.

I think TV One is great. The other African American channel, BET (owned by CBS' parent company, Viacom) has come under harsh criticism for their sexually provocative music videos shows that take up more of their weekly schedule than any other feature.
