I've done some searching and it looks fine, but I'm curious what you think about going with a third-party dish distributor. Is the experience generally a good one?I've been following the fine print and fees, and think I see the general costs, but I'm curious if anyone has any opinion about this (Dishasap.com) or any other vendors like this.Thanks.

i am a dish retailer. Most of my customers like the fact that they can call me with any questions or problems. Also if service is ever needed, they just need to contact us.
if you deal direct w/dish, they will send an installer off their list in order (hopefuly a good one). Then if you need service, you call dish, they will send someone (not the first Tech.)
They also charge more for service calls then your local guy.
