I have dish network and have not had any problems with it during bad weather. I have cable internet and use that for my phone service as well.

we've had directv......what a joke!!!!!!!!!!!!check out www.rip-offreport.com. bookmark it and check it out before you buy/obtain just about anything. lots of good info.our experience with directv ended up with our attorneys getting involved and after 7 months things were finally corrected.good luck!

I have had Direct tv for about 10 years I have 2 dual input dvrs which record 4 different shows at the same time. The hd is perfect including local channels in wis. Note the dvrs have an input for a roof hd antenna which will bring in hd local channels for free at the highest quality available. I love direct tv and really like the red zone channel with the nfl pacage, which will be nice so you dont miss your new wide recievers touchdowns. If you dont have a tree in the way you can expect to lose signal 2 times per year for 15 min each in a very heavy rain or snow storm(dont forget you will still be getting your local hd channels thru your free hd roof antenna.Mat

Send a message via Yahoo to dishrodger
Satellite is alway less expensive then Cable. Both systems are good. I prefer Dish, because of more channels, for a couple bucks less.
If the dish is alined right, you should not have any problems.
