Does your t.v. do weird/haunted type of things. My t.v. is smart. It not only switches channels but it fights with you if you try to change it back. It fights BAD!!! I get so mad cuz I can never win. I have to watch what it wants to watch. I've learned that if I rewind it a little then it can't change cuz you have to click the OK button first. But then after a few days of doing that it learned my trick and started fastforwarding it back to live t.v. It also records stuff for us and trys to order stuff, like them $40 movies, while I am sleeping and the t.v. is OFF! Luckily I don't have my phone line hooked up to my t.v. or the dumb thing would of actually been able to order that crap. I'm telling you my t.v. is smart. My parents have dish network too and theirs does the same thing, just not as bad. What is it with the dish network? I've called them and they have no idea what it could be. Does this happen to anybody else???

You need to call dish network and have them change the frequency of your remote. happened to me also

IF you have a dual tuner and it is doing it on TV2. then someone in the area also has Dish. You need to change the frequency for remote 2

it sounds like there are two remote controls on the same frequency. we had the exact same problem

-That happened once to me. Do you have another TV connected to it? If you do check the mode on the box and see if it is on single. If it is, that means both TV are controlled together, so what you are watching in one room the other person sees too and can change it with their control. There is a button on the box to change the mode to double. In that way both TV can be on watching different programs. There is also a possibility that someone is jacking your dish, someone is connecting to your dish network for free while you have to pay it. So be careful. -
