Who inserts commercials in my Dish Network channels?
I have Dish Network and just about every third commercial these days is advertising a "male enhancement" product of some kind. It is obvious that these commercials are being broadcast over the regular commercials because often I see the last half second of the commercial that was supposed to be broadcast. Is this something Dish Network is doing? Don't the channels that are selling the original commercial time object? How can I get this to stop? I am really getting tired of seeing these things.

I know what you mean. I hate those too. Most of the commercials you see are from the stations themself. There are time slots, that can be sold for the local area. Most of these are not an option for Dish to sell, they can buy spots. These they use for themselves mostly.

Dish Network actually places these commercials. Generally, their is a split of commercial inventory between the network, local carrier and sometime the buyer of the time. In Dish's case, they are selling those spots, so you can't get rid of them. The partial commercials you are seeing are from the network.I would complain to Dish network if you would like them to stop.
