Which is better Direct TV or Dish Network?

Do you have to have good credit with both? I know with Direct TV they will charge $200 if you don't have good credit. What about Dish Network?

I have great service with Direct TV, but it's your choice. I know Dish has alot of hidden charges they don't tell you about.

i've had both direct tv and dish network and there were hidden charges with direct t.v. dish network is straight forward about their monthy costs and was a little cheaper but if you want to get TiVo dvr upgrade from the regular program box they give you, and if you are planning on transferring movies you record on it, direct tv is the way to go as dish network's TiVo does not offer the plug in port for the cable needed to connect computer to the TiVo box. price versus availability is the decision to make when it comes to direct t.v. and dish network!!

Send a message via Yahoo to dishrodger
Credit. alot of people told me they have bad credit, yet we were alble to approve them with dish. you do need a debit card (125.00 in the back) or a credit card (1.00 credit left). try it.
if not 1 tv is 149 & 2 tv's is 199

Dish Network

At least give Dish Network a try. I don't know about credit issues, but their customer service is great! I've had them for a couple of years, and they have definitely been my favorite satellite TV provider!

Personally, I'd prefer Dish Network. Because they have lots of choices on packages, it's also cheap and got more HD Channels than Direct TV. However, if you're a sports fan, then, Direct TV if the Satellite TV Service for you.

According to me, Direct tv is a better then dish network and really i like to use both. The satellite TV systems and services offered by DirecTV. As per my knowledge, DirecTV offers 255 program channels, including movie channels, music channels, pay-per-view movies and events, sports packages, and international programming.

The direct tv and the dish tv both are the same as, The direct tv once u pay means there is no need to pay again but the direct tv if you want the choice means there is no choice, but in the dish tv there is choice for the different packages. The direct tv you want to spend for the cables and all,Cegonsoft

I have always had a great experience with Dish tv. The customer service from the contractor's has always been pleasant and professional. I am currently a happy subscriber.
