what does the error message LNB drift detected mean on my Dish Network receiver?

the people at dish are sending a tech out--in 3 days but I'm getting pixels in my screen and its getting harder to watch--any dish techs out there to help me?

could be a few things. first and formost. dish alinement. do you have a strong signal? at least in the high 80's for 119 & 110. in the 90's is much better. check on transponder 11 on 119 & 22 on 110.
second could have a weak lnbf (make sure a tree is not in the way). at the lnbf you should be getting about 18 volts.
check the cable for rips, tears or sharp bends.
check the fittings, are they tight not rusted?
also could be a bad groung block.
those are the things to check first, in that order.
