Use one dish network dish for more than one residence?

My apartment does not face south and my landlord will not allow me to have a dish installed on my side of the building. One of the other apartment residents has dish because his apt faces south, if the other resident agrees can my apartment be connected with his dish too? By the Dish Network people, of course.

1 dish should be able to service two apartments since all that is located on the dish is the signal collector (feed horn). The signal then travels to the receiver (the Dish box) and then to the TV. You might have to have a signal amplifier between the antenna and the box depending on how far the signal has to travel. Dish Network might be hesitant to do this but remind them that it is either that or they don't get you as a customer.good luck
