Can't decide If I want Dish Network, or Direct Tv. Anyone have any suggestions?

Direct TV has more channel choices in their package, but their order is horrible. You first get the local channels followed IMMEDIATELY by PPV channels. Which means if you want to watch CNN for instance, you have to scroll higher, which can be quite a pain. Plus the remote and menu controls have a steep learning curve.Dish Network has fewer channels to their package, but is easy to navigate with the remote and most of the popular channels come first while smaller stations and PPVs are found at the higher channels. All-in-all it depends on your preference. If you like to watch PPVs a lot, and have more channels, go for Direct TV. But if you want easier and more comfortable navigation in getting to the station you want to watch, Dish is the best.I personally go for Dish.

Send a message via Yahoo to dishrodger
first it will depend on the channels you want. they both have different packages. If hd go with dish, if sunday ticket go w/DTV.
if you want just a basic cheaper one, Dish.
if you want an upgraded receiver, Dish, no upfront money.

If you have multible room, dish is cheaper if you have a phone line connected to the receiver. They waive the $5.00 fee for the second TV per box.
