I have a Dish Network HD DVR. Does any know about rcdistributing and their
receivers? They claim you can get? any sat signals for free if you buy thier receivers. Do they work? I could save a hundred a month if they work.

To the best of my understanding from their website that isnt all that great. They are selling receivers that work with like C-Band dishes. These are the HUGE dishes you would see in peoples yards before things like Dish network became popular and especially in rural areas where cable and the like were unavailable. You can receive free channels with this set up, however it will not be like your Dish. You may not be able to get all the channels or all the programming from the channels. My parents have a CBand satelite and receiver from before Dish. There are some things that can still be picked up for free, mostly public broadcasting channels. It is really an obsolete thing in todays agae of technology.

you must be talking about FTA (frre to air).
ther are alot of channels. you may or may not like them. a receiver costs 150 to 300.00. an antenna is 100-200. this does not include installation. look up free to air on the net. |
