Is it possible to use a DishTV receiver programmed for Denver, Co. in Phoenix, Az and still receive local Denver channels. We especially want see Denver local channel news and sports during the winter months in Arizona.
Any other information will be welcome.

I'm not sure about getting the local stuff on your Denver programmed box in Arizona, but another good solution for your problem would be to set up a SlingBox in Denver and connect it to a regular TV aerial to get the local channels... since it would be just the broadcast stuff, it really wouldn't cost anything beyond the purchase of the SlingBox.
