How much costs a sat installation in Ireland?
Hi, I am moving to Ireland to work there for a few months. I would like to
see my home channels from the continent there and so I would like to have a satellite dish installed. Are there any (cheap?) hardware suppliers/installers in the Longford area? Karl |

It's relatively simple to install a dish -- even I managed to do it and, believe me, I am no expert. One point to remember: if you rent accommodation, you will need the owner's permission to bolt a dish on to the building. Sign up to http://www.boards.ie/ and you will find lots of help there. -- PB The return address has been MUNGED My travel writing: http://www.iol.ie/~draoi/ |

Possibly an LNB too. Probably better to buy the dish and associated hardware in Ireland, as it is bulky and heavy. Although I would recommend giving TV a miss and getting to know the local culture. |
