Re: Highly coveted USA Network *could* be coming to Canada

There was a time when a big 'ol dish (BUD) would get Galaxy 5 and
about 22 channels and a person was happy as a pig in ****.
If I recall, there was Playboy, disney,sci-fi TLC ,TBS USA , HBO
Cinemax ,CNN , HLN and many others and the shows were quality
material.
Nowadays we have hundreds of channels but every single one of them
keeps giving us re-runs of re-runs from the other channels and not
only that they close around 130am and flood us with Infomercials.
I really pity the poor ******* that comes home from work at 100am
after his 4 to 12 shift. All he's stuck with is infomercials and yet
he's paying for the service too. This is really unjust to the
consumers out there.

Re: Highly coveted USA Network *could* be coming to Canada

I wouldn't hold your breath that it will ever be allowed to run.

Like sci-fi, comedy network, and a few other US based networks.
Cannucks will probably get a Chum or Global based/owned "CAN" (rip-off)
channel, that will air the best of CBC all Canadian programming.
24 hour a day Beachcombers, Mr. Dressup, and Rita McNeil
concerts,....Whooo-hooo.

Re: Highly coveted USA Network *could* be coming to Canada

As another recent thread touched on the same subject of Channels starting
out with one thing and then slipping non-related programs in.
The funniest one I've seen yet was the "HISTORY CHANNEL" airing the movie
"Planet of the Apes"

Damn you, damn you all to He**,...I thought all these years that it was just
fiction,...and now I find out the Apes really did take over,

Are you reading this Ratso ?
