Hi Can some kind person tell me what may be wrong with my Model
3100.At random a black square taking 2/3 of the screen from the bottom
up .It happens on most channels. Thanks in advance.

Just a shot in the dark, but make sure your TV isn't pulling up it's own
closed caption or teletext menu.

Like Amun said, make sure your "closed Caption" is OFF ( on your tv )
it might be as Amun says on teletext.
