Hi all:
I would like to know if anyone here can help me make a decision on whether to try and get a satellite dish hooked up so I can watch free satrllite tv. A neighbor gave me a Directv 18x20 triple LNB Satellite Dish Antenna with mount. Receives 101,110,119. Built in Multiswitch. I need to know where I need to look for a receiver that will work with this dish. A diagram showing how to hook it up and aim it at the satellites from my location. Thank you ahead of time, your help will be very much appreciated. |

Hi,
There is a better solution that does not require the mounting of antennas which could be a hassle. Have you heard of Satellite Direct? You can watch over 3500 HD channels directly from your computer(PC or Mac). There is no monthly fee, and you get unlimited access. The best part is that you don't have to install anything. Just download it and get instant access. It's that easy! Hope this information was helpful. You can visit the website by clicking below. All the best.

** Dish Hookup **
Hi Dmitriy:
Today was the first chance to try and use this system. You said "You can use any receiver" I hooked everything up, set the antenna facing in the direction that all my neighbors antennas face. I didn't know where the two cables that come from the antenna should connect, so I first tried one cable hooked to H and the other to V 400ma of the LNA Input, Nothing hooked that way, so I switched the cables, still nothing. I tried moving the antenna around a little, no luck. It displays a lot of channels, I tried them all, no luck. any ideas what I might try next? Thanks, Bill Lane |
