I have tivo but my dual turner is not working and I have Direct tv satellite.How can I record 2 shows at once, or record a show while watching live tv on the other turner. I read the instructions book already and followed the directions but it is not working.

Is direct tv providing you with a tuner card for each, or are you using a direct tv tuner box with 2 tuner cards?Not all satellite/cable/fiber provider tuner boxes have dual tuners. If your satellite receiver (or tivo) has only one tuner card, you only get one channel.

This will not work if your signals are already split in the house.No the Tivo Dual Tuner will not work correctly. The Tivo Dual Tuner has two tuners but the Tivo does NOT record two Digital Channels at the same time.
