Hello I need some help. I currently have dishnetwork with dvr service. I want to upgrade to Hd . I want to do this the easiest and cheapest way without signing a contract with dish and having to spend an arm and a leg to do it. I have never had a contract with dish but they are telling me unless I buy my own equipment to upgrade I would have to sign a 24 month agreement. That jut doesnt make sense to me. What is the best hd reciever to use with dishnetwork? Cause from what I have read of reviews the one one they are offering now the vip722 isn't any good. I'm really not that worried about Hd programing I just want the Hd reciever so i can hook my rooftop antenna to it and have my locals in the on screen guide in stead of switching back and forth from satellite to regular tv. I know what your thinging dish offers locals . Yes they do but I have found out that there are more local channels availible in my are that dish is providing. Any help anyone could give me would greatly be appreciated.
