On April 1 I switched from Direct to Dish. Once the switch was made Dish denied me Local programming and major network programming. I have neighbors on both sides of my house that are receiving local programming. Dish keeps telling me that it is because of my ZIP Code. Their's is the same. The majority of the county holds the same ZIP and there are numerous people some I know personally who are receiving Local and Networks through Dish. From what I can gather via rumor from people who recently signed up for Dish they are being denied also while people who signed up previous to a certain date are receiving the programming. Am I missing something.

Today I called again and was told that they must be doing something illegal to obtain it. Nonsense these are good people and had signed up and was excepted by dish and if the truths known it is appearing on their monthly bill.

When the technician installed by system he couldn't believe what they were saying. He told them that probably 75% of people with Dish some of which he has installed are receiving local programming. He personally talked to them on the phone when he was to instll mine. They said the problem was with the FCC. If it was that big of a problem then everyone now receiving would loose it.

They suggestted All American Direct for Networks. Yeah at $12.99 month for what my neighbors are getting for $5.00 (Plus local programing).

Sorry for the rant but I am just trying to figure out what the problem is and what my next steps might be. Example" State Attorney General, Better Buisness Bureau and FCC.
