HBO wants to Ukraine

The "HBO" - the owner of movie channels, such as "HBO, HBO Comedy", "HBO HD" in 2010, intends to begin its work in Ukraine. At the moment, TV viewers in the TV channels are the Eastern Europe: Poland, Bulgaria, Hungary, Romania, and this is not a complete list, which is already broadcasting channels "HBO" and now channels "NWO" will be in Ukraine.

For the own TV channels in Ukraine "HBO" chosen two partners - Ukrainian cable TV operator's "Volia" and the first licensed DTH-platform "Viasat".

According to the "DTH", arrival in Ukraine of "HBO" shows extensive growth and the attractiveness of pay-TV market in Ukraine and a new round of development of the media market of Ukraine.
