SatelliteDirect.com

The only one I found that really works is SatelliteDirect.com. It's $49 but well worth it I thought. I just wish there were more channels believe it or not. The 3,500+ they talk about are from all over the world.

I hooked my laptop up to my TV

I have previously used many free software for watching live streaming channels, but after some time it stopped working, I have also tried a paid service, which allow you to watch channels but I got fooled as many of the channels are already free to air. Please suggest me a good service (free one) where I can enjoy free streaming channels.

Thank you very much for your support, dear Oliveiero. I think the bad virus infection resulted from other problems but not PPlive. As so many people are using PPLive , its safety has been approve of by thousands of users. It is strongly recommended to download the player from a safe webpage, our site or the PPLive homepage.

P2P TV Options

You definitely won't get the service for free but you can get it for around $50. It's comprised of software that aggregates all of the channels together and then streams them to your PC.

P2P is a simple, free way to broadcast video and audio or watch the video and listen to radio on the Internet. Adopting P2P(Peer-to-Peer) technology, It is very efficient and easy to use. Let anyone become a broadcaster without the costs of a powerful server and vast bandwidth. You can build your own TV stations comparable with large commercial sites with minimal resources.

P2P-TV is the name of software applications peer-to-peer networks designed to transmit and redistribute video content streams live or archived for a user to other more Internet. These networks are based primarily on the computing power and bandwidth participants in the network rather than concentrating is a relatively small number of centralized servers.

Peer to peer (P2P) refers to a computer network where the responsibility for processing the data is distributed over the entire population of this network, rather than using the most common configuration of server or client. A recent adaptation of P2P technology allows redistribution in real-time TV programs live over the Internet. This new technology, known as P2P TV.
