Great show starts with good writing--The Closer. Wonderful actors bring that writing to life through character development and becoming intimate with the characters the actor plays. One of those was Kyra's accent, and although she's not from the south, she's perfected it well. The closer is one of the most constantly well written shows I have ever watched. Both the characters and the cases continue to be new and inventive. The characters really are my favorite part of the show. Whether you love or had Brenda you have to appreciate that there is a well written female character on television. Brenda is tough, smart, but she gets her job done. In the past Fritz always seemed to take a bit too much crap with no real explanation as to why. However, they appear to be dealing with that season 6, which is great! I highly recommend the show, even to people who don't usually watch crime shows.
